Artist - Elaine Lanoue
My desire is to bring joy and a sense of peace to those that view my artwork whether the images are figures or flowers or landscapes. Using dynamic color compositions and textural surfaces thru layers of acrylic paint applied to canvas my intent is to creative a narrative by tapping into my past and present memories.
Elaine Lanoue is a contemporary artist who works with her husband in their studio. Elaine’s paintings are happy. She gives God all the glory for her gifts. I can do all things through Christ. Jesus, who strengthens me, is a favorite scripture; her paintings have been placed in corporate and private collections around the globe.
She has received purchase awards from collectors at the OKC Festival of the Arts from 1999 - 2018. Ten of her paintings are in the Marietta Museum of Art and Whimsy collection in Sarasota, FL. She was featured in 1983 Notable Women of Texas, 1990s Who's Who of American Women, Who's Who of Interior Design, Who’s Who in America, as well as 2008 Who's Who in America. She exhibited for 8+ years at The International Art Expo in NYC. She has received many awards at juried events since 2002
